Wedding FAQ’s for Clients

Venue

9am to 1am, Guests Exit at 12am
Can I access the venue earlier than 9am? No
Can I extend the rental time? No, guests must exit at 12am and venue closes at 1am.

7.5 hours typically (from the start of cocktail hour until the guests exit (typically 4:30pm to 12am). However, you can have your ceremony as early as 2pm  and still end your reception at 12am. In doing so, you must add $500 to cover staff.

Typically the bar is open from 4:30pm to 11:30pm. However, if you have an earlier ceremony start time, the bar could be open from 3:30pm to 11:30pm (max of 8 hours)

Yes the bar closed during dinner.
Yes, and we can provide tableside wine service. 2 bottles per table is suggested. $38/bottle.

Option 1: “Oscar Style”…. the guests will sit at the tables and you will get married on the dance floor. We can set up 1-2 rows of chairs at the front so your VIP guests can walk down the aisle and be seated.

Option 2: For an additional $500 Fee, we can “flip” the room after the ceremony from a full ceremony setup of rows of chairs to the reception setup with tables and chairs while the guests enjoy cocktail hour in The Nest & enclosed patio. This is only available for up to 150 guests.

Trail Hub will clear the roads in and out of Trail Hub. If you and your guests cannot arrive safely, then we will reschedule to up to 1 mutually agreeable date per our Act of God Clause.

Yes, in the traditional wedding package we do provide two wood burning indoor fire places, two exterior fire pits and 4 mobile wood pellet heaters. These are additional fees for micro-weddings.

Yes, Dogs are welcome to attend your ceremony and may stay for photos immediately after the ceremony. They must arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your ceremony and they must leave the venue 30 minutes after the ceremony.  Dogs are not permitted in the venue while food is present.    Dogs are also not permitted in the bridal suite or venue bathrooms / bathroom hallway.  Dogs must have a handler who is NOT in the wedding party and must be leashed at all times.

  2. Muskoka Chairs (30) for outdoor lounge furniture. To move them it would be $200. All year available.
  3. Outdoor patio lounge furniture (2 sets) and dining tables (4 sets) only available end of May through end of October to use outside with no fee.
  4. Indoor Lounge Patio furniture (2 sets) could be moved inside near the fireplaces if space permits for an additional $200 fee if space permits.

Wedding FAQ’s Post Tour

Signed contract and Half the Venue Fee.

Half the venue fee, then two more payments of half the food and beverage minimum, and then the remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding.

Online Bank Transfer (no fee), Online Credit Card (2.9% fee) or Check Drop Off during restaurant hours (no fee).

Yes up until 30 days prior to the wedding.

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the case of Force Majeure (Act of God), then only the reservation fee is kept and the other payments are returned.

Food

No, only baked goods from a licensed and insured bakery. Dessert Food trucks are also not allowed.

If you have an ethnic dish that you want to be prepared, we can consider it once we have consulted with our Chef.

Homebaked items are not allowed.  You may provide them as favors to be handed out as guests are leaving and to be consumed after the event. They must be wrapped and sealed in plastic and labelled for any allergens.

Yes, after you book, we will schedule a 90 minute tasting that is included for the couple. Up to two additional guests can join for $75 per person plus tax and gratuity.

No, but you can also make reservations at our restaurant, The Nest, if you want to experience our Culinary team’s expertise!

  1. Vendor Meals: 50% off the guest meal price. Same meal as the guests unless they have dietary restrictions.
  2. Kids Meals:
    1. $25 for kids meals (12 and under) + $15 for kids beverages, and babies who do not need a meal are free.
      • Choose 1:
        Chicken Fingers and Fries
        Grilled Cheese and Fries
        Penne Pasta with Rose sauce
        Mini Beef Burgers and Fries
    2. Buffet for kids 4-10 is 50% off the buffet
  3. Kids meals can be ordered for any guests (regardless of age) who want this meal and not the regular meal.

Yes, there is a $250 fee for the outdoor bar setup for cocktail hour only and a $500 fee for the whole event.

Coordinator & Vendors:

You may want to hire a Florist, Baker, Photographer, DJ or Band, etc.. Anyone who is providing a service at the wedding must have a COI. If you choose to DIY, there are limitations to discuss with our managers and you must provide a COI.

  2. Outdoor Sparklers: Yes, in designated areas.

  1. Yes, we include 1 Set of Yorkville EXM Mobile 12” Speakers with 1 Wireless Microphone, 1 Corded Microphone, 1 Stand and a Podium can be used for Ceremony OR Reception.
  2. Audio Visual Package:
    • $250 for Projector and Screen.
    • $250 for 2 Additional JBL 320 PartyBox Floor Speakers (Bluetooth Only) to accommodate a playlist. They do NOT pair with the Yorkville speakers.
